This podcast series is one that you might find will never actually be finished. As I continue to interview foster and adoptive parents and children, I will just continue to add to this episode as additional parts.
Today I visit with my friend Megen Cohea who had 6 adoptive children and then added 3 biological children to the mix. We visit about the ups and downs of foster care within the system.
Taking in these kids who have been through trauma, and yes they have all been through trauma, is a serious commitment. Think about that, if they had not experienced trauma, there would not be a need for foster care.
