Meet Stanley. He is born with a coat of many colors in a barnyard full of Rhode Island Reds, Buff Orpingtons, and Plymouth Rock chickens who are all the same color.
Sometimes the things the other chicks say to him on the pecking ground at playtime hurt a little and he has a hard time trying to figure out why he was born with mixed-up feathers. Why couldn't they just decide what color they wanted to be already?
Stanley grows a lot in the barnyard under the protective wing of Jacob, the lead rooster of the flock. He learns about self-worth and how much value God places on each individual.
