A Walk Through December is a compilation of 31 short stories to inspire, entertain, and hopefully prompt you to bring up fond memories from your own life. These short stories range from a variety of topics including, but not limited to .... Jesus, Santa Claus, Holiday Movies, personal Christmas stories from my family, and reflections on the year leading into New Year's Day.
This Spring, I interviewed my Great-Aunt who will turn 107 in January. Learning about Christmas as a child in the 1920s was really a special treat. Such history and insight. You'll be amazed at the transformation of Christmas over the years as I share what Christmas was like for my Mom in the 1940s and finally in the 1970s for myself as a child.
There are historic ice storms, Christmas miracles great and small, and reflections on Jesus, Joseph, Mary, and Simeon but these are just my heart. You won't find 31 days of in-depth bible study, just 31 days of reflection by someone who also happens to be a believer.
